Connect to your subconscious mind for clarity and guidance.
A pendulum is a sacred tool to access your subconscious mind providing you with answers that can often be blocked by the clutter, and chatter of our ego minds. Pendulums allow us to bypass the chatter to go deep within to tap into our higher self and true guidance.
How To Use
Creating Sacred Space to Use Your Pendulum
Find a quiet, space where you will not be interrupted. Sit in a comfortable position with your legs uncrossed to allow the energy to flow. Sitting cross legged can interfere with your reading. I suggest sitting at a table where you can rest the elbow of the hand holding the pendulum.
Cleanse your pendulum before beginning. Take white sage or palo santo and allow the smoke to cleanse and purify your pendulum. Do this before each use. You can speak out loud or silently “ I cleanse and purify this sacred pendulum allowing it to connect to my subconscious mind only providing information that is in my highest good. “
Calibrating Your Pendulum
Calibrating your pendulum is a simple process. Lightly hold the top of the pendulum between your thumb and second and third fingers. First begin with "YES" questions. Simply ask definite “yes” questions. “Is my name (insert real name) ?”, “Am I a woman?”, Do I live in ( insert city you live in)? The direction the pendulum swings for these questions is your "yes" when doing your reading.
Then ask definite “No” questions. Is my name (insert fake name)?, Am I a Man (if you are a woman)?, Do I live in (insert fake city). This will be the opposite direction of your "Yes" questions. One will be up and down and one will be left and right.
Once you have your directions for "yes" and "no" you can begin asking questions. There may be times when the pendulum does not move left or right or perhaps moves in circles. I recommend doing a self check at this time to ensure you are relaxed and calm and holding the pendulum lightly. Re-ask the question and if you are receiving the same response simply respect and accept that as a "I do not know".
